    That is correct.

Less than 39 BMI is a Prime hiring standard, doesnt matter what the government is looking at restricting. They have chosen not to hire anyone with a BMI of 39 or higher. Yes, they will measure your weight and height at orientation... They use the standard BMI chart (It can be found anywhere on the internet) They will send you home... it is a fact and not a rumor.

Its a standard they set late last year, and all current drivers at the time, who may have been above the minnimum were "Grandfathered" in to keep their jobs.... but, at their next DOT Physical, if they are still over 39, will be required to take the sleep study for sleep Apnea.

Drivers Daily Log (DDL) is not a paperless log system. It is a PC program where your simply throw out the log book and pencil for a PC and printer.

It has quite a few other functions where you can track fuel, expenses, etc...DOT requires you print and sign the log daily. Its totally up to the user to acurately enter his duty status. It is a dream to use, and becuase it is entirely user input, you can cheat with it just as easily with a paperbook log.

Paperless or Electronic logging is connected to the truck through the Qualcomm. It tracks movement, GPS coordinates, time etc. With this system the driver has almost no control over the logging of drive time... its automatic... move the truck over 6/10 of a mile and your are on line 3. No printing of logs required daily. They user does have input and adjustment capabilities for every other log book line except line 3 (On Duty Driving)

You will have to do some more research, Swift, Stevens, Knight, watkins-shepard all have their own schools--don't know about their restrictions.

By the way--you're right it does suck. I watched 3 guys get sent home. Everyone in my class came up 2 inches short according to the nurse so I was closer to going home than I liked.

If diagnosed with sleep apnea are you automatically disqualified from driving for Prime? My DH has received a prehire from Prime but uses a CPAP machine for his sleep apnea and I wanted to find out if he should consider accepting the prehire or not. TIA for any info!
