Study: Migraines May Inflict Damage to Brain

So can anyone tell me if migraines prohibit a perosn from holding a CDL?
My wife gets them, but has meds for them, and is thinking about getting her cdl.
I said let's wait to see what i find out, before she goes and fork out the $$ to learn to drive.

No me teaching her would not be very conductive

 

I don't see why it would stop her ski. I suppose it depends on the meds she uses for it.

 

Migraines don't prohibit a CDL, but her meds might. That is one of the things holding me back.

 

I was taking Imitrex for the migraines that seemed to start after I started driving. Then I was cut off because you can't take Imitrex with high blood pressure which I got after I started driving and put on weight. I think I spent half of last year holed up in a hotel room screaming from pain. Was told my bp was causing migraines but bp meds were knocking me out. One of the bp meds they tried to give me is a drug they are experimenting with to erase memory..sheesh. Finally..finally got the right bp med and haven't had a migraine since the first of the yr when I hit the jackpot with Verapamil. Brought the weight and bp down too.
