There was an inspection set up in the rest area on US35 wb in Ohio. The guy in front of me didn't pull in. By the time I got to where they waved me through, there was a guy getting in his cruiser to go after him. I'm sure all the time he saved by not pulling in he lost in spades by getting caught.
On the other hand, in bad rain storm, I blew past the nb I55 scale in Bolingbrook and they didn't come after me.
Not stopping at weigh stations when it’s backed up to the freeway

I ran up on an inspection in a pullout in a curve. He was just just setting up and by the time you saw the signs, you really had to get on the binders to get shut down. I was pulling doubles grossing 150,000, but still. The nice dot officer stood in front of me and guided me to right where he wanted me to stop, looked like a guy on a flight line guiding a jet in.
THEN stepped off to the side and waved me on for some unknown reason. I tend to think they do not like to crawl around under hot oil tankers.Lepton1 and Cabinover101 Thank this. -
