    Nobody is forcing anyone to use the new (old) flexibility, if an employer did so to you, you aren't forced to work there, so I've been told, there are many reasons for working at something, one size does not fit all.

    I'm not jumping ship because the planning there can be poor, I have learned to live with that.

    The rigid rules of the ELD is ridiculous in my humble opinion :angel12: Do you know how many times I have received a 1-10 minute 'violation' bc I was sitting at a red light waiting to get into a truckstop, waiting for 15 other guys to back into a parking spot (who took a long time- bless their heart) or riding around the parking lot looking for a parking spot or during the process of ACTUALLY backing into a parking spot, not to even mention trying to time out traffic or accident or construction delays

    Wait so does that mean if I get a speeding ticket I can say that the eld made me do it I dont control the speed anymore. That's like saying it's not my fault I got a dui I have alcohol problem and the disease made me do it I mean come on how stupid does that sound

    Habits dont always change. If a driver is speeding during the era of elogs, he was speeding during the era of paper logs. Elogs just exposes the drivers that dont know how to work.
