From what I know of them, I would not work for them, let’s put it this way they are a small company no problem with that, but when quality refuses to let them get trucks, I would be very concerned about them, it’s been a while since I inquired about them, hopefully everything as change for the better with them, the concept they have if done right you should be able to make money with them, but as we all know small guys go under first and I am not wishing that for them let me be clear on that,

I used to see their freight up on the board but they kind of disappeared unless they went to their own website, I broker loads to them once in a while seem like a fairly good company !

Meadowlark is by far the worst company I've ever driven for. I would put Swift or Cr England above them if that tells you anything. In order to drive for Meadowlark you need your own trailer as well. Which means all loads are live unloads. They will rent a trailer to you at the cost of a house mortgage per month and expect you to cover most of the maintenance cost on that trailer. You won't be able to because all of their loads are leftover scraps from JB, Schneider, Landstar, Nolan, etc. On top of that they take their sweet ### time paying you. Their fuel discounts are 25 to 55 cents less per gallon than a big carrier, their maintenance and tire discounts are basically non existent. Please, for your own sake, do not drive for this company. I had 6 other drivers waiting for me to give the word that it was a good place to go. It isn't. I was suckered into it by an agent that I thought was my friend.
