Swifts new Idle policy

I see it and like it. I may purchase one for my car as I like to camp out. Are you with Swift?

No i tried swift 2 years ago,, low miles low pay

 

Well, all of the above is why Swift is history and beginning in August I will be driving for one of the top tour coach operators. As much as I have missed a lot of the trucking industry stuff, I must say I am looking forward to clean clothes, motel rooms and meals (paid for), great new equipment, much better money and I don't have to do much of anything other than drive if that's all I want to do. Oh, and more hometime as well. Perfect??
Nope, but certainly the better of the two options. Do I miss Swift????

Ever notice that 99% of the companies that for whatever reason refuse to put APU's on the trucks all come from Salt Lake city & they are all owned by a small group of people with the same religious beliefs.

Good, for awhile there I thought that I was the only one that noticed this.

 

We are paying $65 a week to stay cool!

 

The thing that really gets under my skin is that the local guy in Phoenix has a #### APU... the local guy!!!

 

Glad im not stuck in a slow truck. Houston to Atlanta should only be like a 2 piss stop trip away. But I supppose in a Swift truck its a what, 2 - 3 day trip? Thats gota suck....

Tell them to either PAY you for a hotel room, or put that idle time up where the sun dosent shine, cause its HOT outside.
