Swift pays 47 cpm? Munitions require a team so don’t get why they are hiring solos.

 

Because only about half (if that) of their freight is Government (DOD) The rest is commercial frt. Mostly Haz waste. Like Clean Harbor which is horrible loads. Takes hours to get loaded. Complete BS. And they run lots of UPS and most of their terminals are run by smartasses. Rude as He'll!!

 

Sounds like you have experienced the joy that is TSMT firsthand. This solo division must be new as when I was there it was all teams except for the locals.

 

First hand indeed. And you are correct, I don't recall them hiring solo. I know frt is slow for them right now. They have trucks sitting w no loads and the loads they do have are non DOD right now. Seriously, I bring home,more now and home 2 days a week than I ever did there and gone for weeks at a time. On guarded loads back to back. There is literally no comparison. They suck!!!!!

 

They only hire teams, unless you live near a terminal. I called the 2 weeks ago. They have a big billboard at the Wyoming Nebraska state line on 80.
