Random LTL Rants (all are welcomed)

Does anyone else that runs nights always want dinner food? I just got back from dropping my daughter off at school and I'm grilling hamburgers. My neighbors probably think I'm a crack head lol.

 

I never eat breakfast food, because it never feels like breakfast time. Lol

 

Just cause your such a hard working driver and they wanted to reward you? Or are their different type of shenanigans going on?

 

They had to raise their starting pay to attract drivers quickly, so there was a meeting, and I am going to receive the amount they are having to pay new drivers.

Which I could be insulted about new drivers making what I am, but it's a nice enough raise that I'm just going to shut up and count my money. Lol

 

I believe it was discussed in this thread a couple weeks ago. Once people found out about that new starting rate at my terminal, they had to have a meeting to decide that it would apply to all the drivers currently in progression.

 

If i recall you were tight lipped about it. Seen a few threads pop up over in a different forum over questions from a new driver from your hub. Thats good news for anyone in progression. Wish it was local wide lol we’re still advertising for casuals at seasonal rate.

 

I got weird about it until I realized that literally everybody knew about it, and I was an idiot for thinking I had some James Bond type of information. Lol

Ya I know the feeling. I’m in my driveway listening to the radio drinking a beer and washing my car lol. I’m either an alcoholic or they know I work nights haha

 

I felt the same way when i got uprated for those few weeks and the back pay calculation was put in as a referral. Talked with a steward after the honeymoon pay was over and found out another driver above me got it to. It was a huge letdown, thought it was the companies way of letting me know special i was.
