Like winny said, drive a stick as long as you can. It's like riding a bike and you definitely want the know how because not every company is running autos.

I'm in the same boring region and lanes everyday. I'm a line hauler pulling a wiggle wagon.

PFG was quite the experience, haha. My legs are solid Rofl, Learned how to Maneuver Tight store parking lots, The money wasn't bad Either some Biweeks I'd get $2,600, I've seen magnum can do that and more so I'm hooked, and I dont have to touch anything? Alrighttttt, If you dont chew big red you suck. Lol

$2,600 net or gross? Yeah, you pretty much got the right idea lol. Touch freight blows. I'm too lazy for that. I thought CDL stood for cant do labor.

It was $2,600 gross, Which isnt too shabby, I grossed over $4,000 most months and only a couple would I hit $3,700-3,800. Most $4,000+

How's magnum money??? Also is the .62cpm they advertise really possible with bonuses??? What's trainer pay look like?
I'm trying to hit 6k gross lol.

It's going great. Today is day 3, I've got the entire outside of the tractor pre-trip down perfectly. Did it today three times with no notes. Tomorrow we are continuing the pre-trip for half a day, then half a day Saturday doing shifting and driving!! Super excited for that. Next Thursday is my appt for my DOT card, and after that we're gonna start backing!

Backing is the fun part, I'm not scared to Admit that I failed my 90 my first time and had to retake the test, makes me Humble haha.

I earned my cdl Through PFG, Surprisingly enough, No Contract was ever Signed, Aswell I never went to a "school", I just got my permit and no joke they tossed me in with a "trainer" that was really Confused on who I was the night of dispatch... lol. I practiced backing maybe for 2-3 hours total??? Haha.

Pretty much Dont be worried at all, You will be fine going to an actual School. My program was Sink or Swim, I learned how to shift being tossed on the I-24 in the middle of the day coming in hot off an exit Ramp haha, Oh never Drove a Manual before Either.

You will be just Fine. :)
