I had to do that to keep the pto running on a sand haul Truck I was in for awhile. Cruise control would conk out and it would plug immediately. Hard to learn techniques when the equipment did that.

 

The wood is fine, but a adjustable hood prop from a tool catalog will keep you from having multiple blocks of wood that say DO NOT CUT.

Got there at 4:30 he said they close the doors at 4:45 but close at 5. I thought eff em. Took bout 30 minutes and a cool shower from sweating in the heat ! They got a sign up on the doors. This year's truck show is cancelled.

 

I'll bite. What's the need to keep the clutch partially depressed? It seems..
