BUT I did apply for there factory once and they had this huge test you had to take. I failed it because i've been out of high school since 17 and I haven't used math much in the past 12 + years.

Hey cypher, it won't hurt to go talk to Dot but they are not currently hiring out of Mt Sterling. I work out of our Indiana distribution center but they have mt sterling basically on a hiring freeze right now so that all the current drivers all get their fare share of the pie till things pick back up. It is a very good company to work for and if your interested just keep trying. It took the driver trainer that did my orientation 5 yrs. to get hired but that was about 10 years ago. We have lots of drivers that have been there over 10 years, I think more drivers with over 10 years than drivers with less than 10, so that tells you something also. Have you looked at WW Transport up in Iowa? I have a buddy that drives for them and he likes it pretty well, he is in their reefer division but they have several divisions. Also might look at McNay in Quincy. I don't know much about McNay but they pretty much run regional i believe in the midwest. If you want to talk to somebody at Dot let me know and I can give you some telephone #'s and names of people to call. Let me know if i can be of any help.Cypher Thanks this. -
