Damages done to truck?

We stayed in contact they had peace officers come to truck and never contacted me to be present also as agreed to retrieve the items, so the officers only allowed them to retrieve the logos and not enter vehicle. The company went back later and entered truck without anyone present and caused the damage which was stupid. I guess it was beneath the arrogant petty owner to contact me for some reason after I texted him we can meet with or without officers I also spoke with the officers myself prior any meetings at the truck I was never notified.

 

He took my license plate the 2nd time he came back illegally. I reported it and asked officers why they allowed him to enter vehicle without me present the police said they did not and when they were present he only accessed logos. so when the officers called him he admitted had he been back to vehicle in and possessed the license plate he admitted to having the plate thereby placing him on the scene without peace officers or myself which the officers told me is open and shut because why were you on the scene tampering with a vehicle you don’t have access to and then after the fact the vehicle has damage. The truck died on the way to the shop as I pulled in their parking lot. I had already started it prior to discovering oil cap was missing. The shop was 15 minutes away. They said if it needs a rebuild it will be 25-45k for the Cummings isx

Also I was 45 minutes away and told them I could meet them with or without peace officers to retrieve the items it was already worked negotiated and understood. They elected to move outside of the agreement.
