OK I need some advice here. I was with Werner for 8 months, and had 3 minor incidents plus a citation. Got fired from them, mostly cause of the citation. I know I screwed up having that in 8 months. Really is it worth it to still look around for something else, or am I pretty much screwed for a few years until those clear off my DAC?
Do I keep looking?

3 incidents plus a citation in just 8 months. Were the incidents body damage to the truck? You might find someone to hire you, but first you need to re-evaluate your decision to get into trucking. Are you not paying attention out there or what? Trucking is serious business....
dwayne Thanks this. -
no body damage to my truck. 1st time I backed into another truck on my blindside at t/s in Carlisle, PA. 2nd I ran over a crosswalk sign making a right turn ( the acct I was on was running 48 and 53 footers) I had a 53 and musta been thinking I still had a 48. 5 ft makes a difference. Got a citation for that. Than the next day I tore a door off backing into an inside dock. Stupid stuff. Yeah I'm paying attention, but apparantly not good enough.

its going to be hard to find a job at the big companys you might want to try the litlle ones

Have you look into getting some training again??
-
would that help my DAC any to get some more training? I had thought about that, but I'm not sure if I wanna add to my loan right now.

Sorry for the downside news, but maybe check the local garbage company, usually good or decent pay, or dirt haulers...but good luck to you..hopefully now your attention will be better directed to the task at hand and all things around you.dwayne and cowtrucker Thank this.
