As far as I know it's in every lease. It's not exactly something they advertise. It's buried in the lease and we all know most people don't bother to read it. Requires $5k deposit which you get back when the lease is paid off.

Okay. Keep in mind I'm paid at top reefer starting rate so it's a little more than others would be.

So you get 7.5-8 mpg?they pay for reefer fuel?you can make more elsewhere but thats still okay money with a brand new truck and the peace of mind that whatever breaks is covered by the truck warranty itself and then their .12 cpm in house warranty that covers everything else
-
Mpg varies depending on the load and how hard I push. It is after a W900L. I was lead to expect 5.5 mpg avg during orientation. I definitely get better than that. I don't generally reach 8. I'd say an overall avg would be about. 6.7 mpg. But in Cali with that slow roll I'll get 7.5 easy. Yes they pay the reefer fuel. I know there's better pay to be had elsewhere but I AM getting good experience at learning how to handle my expenses
Hillbilly hauler and Zer0chick Thank this. -
That's the very best thing about the .12 cpm warranty they have, you could rip out motor, tranny and differential and you don't have to pay any extra if I'm reading it right..that gives you a ton of breathing room to save money while you're at it,that counts for a lot.ESPECIALLY when you are just starting outRichtaco Thanks this.

Indeed. It's nice to not have that worry yet. Blow a tire? It's covered. Break a windshield wiper blade? It's covered (have already done this). Gotta get towed? It's covered.
Is WFX perfect? Absolutely not. I have my own complaints. Are they worth walking away from this truck for? Not yet.Attached Files:

Hello Roadgoddess, I start with WFX on 09/16. I went through a 3rd party company Hardcore Trucking. My wife has been watching this thread for awhile and told me about your experience so far. I am hopefully starting as a reefer driver since that is where most of my experience is at. I also do dry van. It is always nice to get an idea of the company from current drivers. I have a question. Can you fuel anywhere and is there a fuel discount? Are you running in a certain regions more than others?
-
Yes as an independent contractor you can fuel wherever you want. It's your money. But there are discounts. Best at PFJ, next best at TA/P, then Love's. But if you want fuel at a mom and pop you can.
I get through OKC a lot of course. Lots of Texas. But I've been all over since I started in April.darchris_20 Thanks this. -
And if you leave without ever having to use the “warranty” all the money is gone
-
Yep. You're absolutely right. That sucks. But then how many times have you heard drivers cry that a company kept their maintenance account. At least I know right up front that I won't see that again other than through any repairs, maintenance, tires, tows, fluids, wiper blades, etc that I require.
Hillbilly hauler and dwells40 Thank this.
