I used to work with concert and entertainment venues, still do a little bit.
One driver backed his truck up to the dock, got his chopper out, and rode off with his woman on the back.
Most of the drivers at these venues didn't touch anything, they would just go to a hotel room that was provided for them. I have to say that is the only time I've ever seen that.
Can't recall what group, think it was a rock group. He showed up after the concert. When they were finished loading the gear, he loaded his bike up, shut the trailer, and took off.

This is the RV motorcycle carrier, I'm sure a little American forward thinking could rig something up. I would think a flatbedder could do something right at the front of his trailer, especially if they hauled stuff like coils all the time where you never loaded all the way to the front of the trailer

Ponder this, I don't think this would actually be to terribly hard to make. Would have to have a sliding 5th wheel. stretch it out. All pieces would have to be made out of Aluminum, to save weight. Would need a piece of U channel with width just a hair wider that tires, about 2 inches high, a self locking wheel chock mount in u channel. Mount that on the frame behind the sleeper on couple of rollers so it would slide forward and back. A couple of aluminum ramps. Not sure it would work for a gold wing, but a small sport bike, and small cruiser would work. could even use a small electric winch, to help roll it up and down the ramp. Might be a 2 person operation, but this is doable. Roll it up on the ramps, on to the U channel and into the locking wheel chock. couple of straps. roll it forward tight to the back of the sleeper, lock that down, couple of quick disconnect pins would do, and slide 5th wheel back to wherever it needs to be. And there you go. I bet a day a fab work, and a half hour at most to load or unload. I really like the winch idea, with a remote, easy as pie.

There was a Prime driver who had built a rack under the drivers side sleeper and had a smaller crotch rocket on it. I've seen many flat beders and steps with their bikes and a few bed buggers. Me, some day I'd like to get a 60" sleeper and stretch the frame 60" and put mine in there. Use an electric winch to unload and load it with! Who needs to come home!
I even have a T shirt that says "I rode my bike to trailer week" Daytona Beach 1996!:biggrin_2559:
Oh mine right now is a '04 Honda Aero 750

Go for the Hayabusa. You can get a great deal on one right now and it's a hell of a lot more comfortable to ride than the 1,000.
