Hello, I just received my CDL permit and Iwas going to go through a company that was going to train me to get my CDL license but they denied me the opportunity to work with them due to an old reckless driving tickets from 2014 and 2015 in another state. These were the last tickets I received and my driving record is clean now other then those two citations...should I give up on my dream to receive my CDL. Are there any companies out there that are willing to give me a chance? I currently live in the state of Georgia if the helps..thanks

Some companies are more lenient than others, regarding driving records, but reckless driving is often a dealbraker. As old as yours are, however (over 3 years), you may still be okay.

Which company denied you?
You're good to go as far as becoming a trucker; just have to find the right route to get there.
Which town are you in or near?Hillbilly hauler, x1Heavy and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
Cypress Truck lines in Jacksonville, Florida. I love in Georgia but I'm like 10 mins away from the Florida State line.

Reckless and similar tickets are verboten in this industry HOWEVER some companies don't care too much about it. There is one person here who is very good at finding what you need where possible. It would be on you to follow through and get it a go with your applications.
