What do you suppose will have to happen if everyone CLOSED and not a truck moved in this USA?

 

Basically, we would become a Third World country like Venezuela

 

Maybe all this circulating debt that never ends is starting to take its toll. The only people worried about fixed cost are the people that saw trucking as easy money. Debt free with paid for equipment and self repaired equipment will prevail I think. But take modern disposable trucks out of this equation. And perhaps carriers that can not adapt to eld and figure out how to fudge them is part to blame.

 

Freight rates are horrible I'm not surprised....When you have an industry that is being overrun with foreigners that will work for nothing, and mega fleets that will haul for nothing there will be more closing up for good I'm sure.

I heard a guy on the cb radio last week say "the foreign truck driver is a freight brokers wet dream" he's 100% right.

 

Then the hot shot and expedite realm will take off like a rocket!!!

 

I am under the assumption we were told pay raises would be thanks to the elog mandate but yet it seems not true because of the fact to me that the elog mandate increased the need for drivers and more trucks on the road when yet freight capacity only increased a few points which does not lead to anything more than less pay for every driver.
