I’m starting to get that feeling. This makes my 4th or 5th random in the last 7-8 months. Yes, I’m serious. Yes, I’m irritated about it.

I think I came back that route... through Klamath Falls? There is a rather nice Rest Area just south of Klamath... the hills between Grants Pass at Klamath slow going but the rest was wide open Valley areas for the most part.

 

Still announcing this... saw the same sign but north of Kingman.

When the guy unloading my trailer got finished here in Phoenix, Arizona.
I ask him "So what's the latest on the prisoners that escape?"
His answer... "What prisoners?.. I don't watch the news."
Some people are incredible! they can have a hurricane coming towards them and they don't know nothing!

Thanks... the soon to be ex (formerly known as the blonde) and our little 85# puppy are holding down the Fort. We’ve been through a few down there but this one will be the most direct landfall as it’s projected to be hitting the West Palm Beach area... hoping it shifts north in the projected cone but then someone else will take the brunt of it.

Interesting trivia... (heard on a forecast)... it’s gathering power while over the warmer waters BUT it’s going so slowly that it’s actually churning up the ocean pulling cold water up from the deep... so the fact that it’s pulling up deep cold water might actually have a decreasing impact on its strength....
