Winter is when the trucking is good, it sucks running in the summer. I generally try to stay off the haul road until it gets good and cold and they can ice the parts of the road that needs it.

Dunno about omens . . . . On my first day of CDL school, on the way to school . . . . I passed this - 6000 gallons of gas and 2000 gallons of diesel . . . . and now have failed my first basic maneuvers test. FYI - I WON'T fail again. Just sayin about omens . . .

I use 4 diesel to one of gas.

The gas provides the ignition hot enough to light diesel and the diesel sticks to whatever you put it on to burn.

I did a 1 and three gallon once. Made a bomb. Got about 3 steps away from the blast and fire which was going out as it passed me. Sheesh.
