and the truck have around 300000 miles on it

Couple things I would recommend if you buy this truck. First have the overhead ran, then get a Diesel Force Cleaning. Then use Max Milage fuel additive from Pittsburgh Power to keep that engine and EGR system clean. I have done all these on mine and still running great with 642k on it. I have an ex-werner T680. That Diesel force cleaning will get the entire engine internals and filter system clean.
FlaSwampRat and kay_ray Thank this. -
will do so heard alot of good things about that diesel force cleaning .did you see anything alarming in the oil sample report ?. thanks
-
No Kay Ray I just had mine done and didn't have an oil sample on I'm not quite sure about the soot number on a cat sample, I use OPS and my soot is usually at >1. How are the rest of the specs on the truck?
kay_ray Thanks this. -
everything els is pretty good around 90%rubber on michelin low pros90 percent brakes truck was never idled much because of apu,no warranty work done, rears are 2.64 with 10 speed auto .
ecm report was pretty good gave around 7.8 mpg average . no major fault codes have 9 months of original factory warranty left and 1 year of red oval .passed dot with flying colours . -
Sounds good, good luck. I gotta get back to work.
kay_ray Thanks this. -
sounded good, except for the auto.is an automatic, or auto-shift? if auto-shift for $1500.00 to $2000.00 you could change it to a manual.
