You can make a repellent that works good, only lasts about two weeks at a time. If you spray it on the nests, they won’t use it. Then don’t take the nests down. Wasps will not use and old nest, or build one close to an existing nest. They are sort of territorial.

    Spray ingredients

    Vinegar
    Lemongrass oil
    Peppermint oil
Chili peppers you want high capsicum type.
    Dish soap

    How to make

Chop 8 to 10 chilis, put in about 2 or 3 cups in a covered pot. Bring to a boil, turn heat down, and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes. Turn off heat and let stand to fully cooled.
Strain the chili from the liquid ( 2 liter soda bottle)

Take 1 ounce of the lemongrass oil and 1 ounce of the peppermint oil add to the chili water. Add 1 ounce of liquid dish soap. Now add vinegar to double the liquid.
( 2 cups chili water, two cups vinegar)

Now stir this, but don’t get it all sudsy.
If you have a garden sprayer, you could mix right into it, then spray the area you don’t want the wasps.

Sprayed every week for 3 or 4 weeks should keep them away for a long time.

Thank you sir! I screen capped this and will be making it. I have a hand pump garden sprayer that would work. Bees are a 365 day a year problem here. Even more so when you have a crackerjack house like mine that's up on bricks and has space for them underneath.

Still be a little shy to get across Indiana on the pike. Florida puts it in your ### real good too.
