    This is the age of paranoimia, after all.
    Everyone is afraid of everything it seems.

    I used those things once. I could hardly stay balanced.
    Never again.
    And I have never had a problem being barefoot in the shower, probably because I only shower at places that clean the shower after every use.

    (I once had a problem at one of our terminals, because those places are not cleaned that often or very well. So I never shower at our terminals any more.)

    I think diseases have been around for a very, very long time. People just didn’t know about them because they couldn’t see them or even knew they existed. Someone died, well, it was the witch on the top of the hill.

    I've never worn them much, and in the shower they really throw me off balance. Nothing feels right about stepping or turning with them on.
