So how did it all come together for u?
I rebuilt my 6nz 550 in March and installed marine cam and 58 injector. Full tilt manifold and stage 2 turbo. It’s good power with lots of black smoke below 1500 rpm. Egt is 1100 in a hard pull. Mpg down from 6.5 to 6.1. Overall not happy. Turbo is to big. 35 on boost gauge. Could get 45 with smaller turbo. Thinking about pulling cam and turbo and return to stock.Kw Owners Club Thanks this. -
That would strictly be based on fueling tables, acert and C16 have same length stroke so besides timing for emissions the timing tables would be very close.Oxbow Thanks this.

Actually piston speed on the 16L engine is faster than a 14.6, so timing wise even the stock files are slightly advanced compared to 14.6 files.
You likely have temp issues because of the cam/compression combination, not the file.Oxbow Thanks this. -

Where is a good place to send injectors to be rebuilt and flow matched?
I have a friend that is running a 5EK with the 800 marine cam with stock injectors and a borg non waste gated turbo, pulling heavy haul and loves it. -

I swapped the turbo bowl for a smaller one and that brought down the egt to 900 in a hard pull. I also bot cat et and started messing with files. I currently use c-16 and it runs good.joey8686 and Kw Owners Club Thank this.
