Just sucks that ego ruins all great things. Although I do think Van Halen wouldn't have had the long term success they experienced without bringing Sammy Hagar into the fold.

I agree 100% with this!!! I know it’s blasphemous to say, but Sammy was the better musician, and they put out much more interesting music with him. And I LOVED the Roth era of VH.FlaSwampRat and AModelCat Thank this.

I get that. He's almost too good and too fast and too technical for folks, other than players to appreciate.
