I've struggled for the past ten years or so with passing the BP threshold on the first try. Always hovering about that 140/95 or so mark. Just enough for them to try me again and again to pass me. Started a new job a month ago and was nervous about the physical. But I've made some changes and from what I've noticed is that alcohol, even in moderation consumed often will affect BP. I quit a couple months ago and only have a drink on occasion now. When I went in to the physical my BP was 115/75. All from only quitting alcohol everyday. I was a heavy drinker and have made very little diet change. That was my fix. And I would probably say that staying hydrated, keeping plenty of water in your system would help too. That and stress, rest is your friend.
