I’d check really good for a bent rim. It may balance on a machine, but can still have a little bend.

 

Didnt feel any slack in the rear ends. Now that you mention it I do remember some noise that sounded like it was coming from the front diff. With the rear shaft out and the power devider out and the truck setting it shook. With the rear shaft out and moving it shook.

I'm getting to the point where I'm nickel and diming myself to death throwing parts at it to fix a vibration/shake

It’s all the college girls workin there, so that’s generally the way it is. Food is good, not great, but I like stopping there when I can. They do have good breakfast. Good size gravel parking lot west of the little pond. Nobody messes with ya.

5 or 6 years ago I was parked in the far southwest corner of that gravel lot, not far from that house. Got woke up by a helluva racket outside. I peeked and there was a helicopter landing next to me. They took a patient from an ambulance and hit 35 south toward OKC.

Good luck goin back to sleep after that one.

Sounds like ya seen it...just wasn't sure what ya was looking at. Don't try to diagnose it just change it. Good used was 750 and 2 to 3 to change it.....

 

So we thinking maybe front diff pinion bearing?

 

Come on a fella with your ambition..... I could make it in a hour or two with a few smoke breaks if I went and got the plasma cutter...I don't have a bandsaw or a mill.

I'll tell ya it gets irritating when you've always been able to build anything and don't have access to the equipment anymore.

 

Does your International identify as a Freightliner perhaps?

 

Sounds like something in there....if your not feeling it the wheel it ain't up front. You said you seen it when you isolated the front diff. I'm assuming you already put a bar on the suspension bushings.
