1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

ok, ive had my CDL over 5 years now and bout 2.5 of them was OTR, the other 2.5 ive been doin my own stuff here in AZ with 24' dryvan through other peoples contacts and they of course would take a % off the top. like everyone else im stuggling too. would lke to sell truck , but not even 1 call since Oct in truck paper. im looking at companys that are base n PHX area so i don thave to take a bus and pack 30 days of clothes plus itll be easier home time even though im willing to stay out bout 4-6 weeks or longer. i know Werner, Swift, Heartland, Knight, Conway are the bigger ones out here. so far im looking at Knight Reefer and Heartland. Kinght reefer cuz its a smaller division and decent pay and dont have to drive around looking for emtpys cuz its a reef and more then likely ill be keeping same trailer for the most part. decent trucks too. Heartland cuz the higher pay and thats about it. before i do anything i have to either sell or have truck repoed or try n find someone i trust n lease it out on verbal agreement. i also wanna talk to some drivers at the truck stops round here and hear what they have to say before i go to either company and talk to recruiter. so again, heres another "WHATS A GOOD COMPANY TO DRIVE FOR" QUESTION, but only 1's with terminal for training in PHX area. thnx and be safe out there

Google truckertwotimes . He worked for Knight and I think the only thing that bothered him was the 64 mph trucks. What I wanted to remind you was to not let 3 years go by from when you left otr or you have to retrain.
