Anytime dash lights are on, brake lights come on

    Have a 2013 w900L, anytime my dash lights up my brake lights come on. Also if I’m sitting in truck with dash lights off, and push the brake pedal my dash will light up. Any ideas?

    Probably the dash light and brake light wires rubbed together and are shorting each other.

    That’s what I was thinking, but do you know where the 2 wires would even be close to each other?

    I did have an odd one on a customers truck that took some head scratching, they had changed a tail light bulb and replaced an 1157, with a single element 1156, it made contact with both wires in the housing,
