i think that's more of the payroll dept than a dispatcher.
or your own CPA at home -
Help you make less money? Help you make more money? Keep less for herself? Keep more for himself? Beyond that a dispatcher has nothing to do with your taxes.
stillwurkin Thanks this. -
Yup yup.
-
i'm a dispatcher , not a driver -
then stay out of the employee's taxes, and earnings, and to simply "dispatch them".
you could very easily muck them up at tax time. if you ain't a CPA or certified financial planner, you have no business into thier taxes.
best to advise then to seek a CPA, and stay focused on YOUR JOB of dispatching. -
i just fix the post , i did not mention " employee's taxes, and earnings " anywhere in the post , i'm talking about dispatchers , not drivers
-
ok, that is more clear, you left it to sound like you wanted to get involved in the drivers tax base.
for you, same as another other job where you might itemize at the end of the year.
health benefits, that you have to contribute to, clothing, specific to the job, not the wedding tux for your brother's wedding,
save all receipts for food, especially if you are buying food, cutlery, soft drink cups, napkins, etc, for the employee's, say for a company meeting, that YOU alone is having, not the company itself is having..
any books or schooling that you need as long as it is job related,,, going to night school for say, book keeping, accounting, school supplies, maybe lab materials.
but i do believe that the "standard deduction" has increased over the past few years, and you might not have enough itemized things. -
ok , thanks for the info , was wondering if there was anything else besides the standard deduction
-
not much since that standard was raise.
