Yeah it was downright pathetic. I ended up starting at US Foods, making over 10 dollars more per hour.

Coke and Pepsi still pay that low down here (Missouri) there big thing is there union and have free healthcare. I'll take the 10 dollar extra a hour but some guys love delivering soda I'll never understand it.

We don't have free healthcare here, it's cheap and good but not free. Delivery work is great, I wish we had sideloaders because I would be all about that. I can say I'm not a fan of rd pallets.

    Cardfan89 Thanks this.

    You like sideloaders?

Then you have to fingerprint every single case.

I worked for Pepsi back in '99 and they had me work with a sideloader. It was too much work and back then you had to work with those because the drivers with senoirty drove the trailer. I quit after 4 months.

Don't forget Fed Ex Freight, and XPO Logistics. It's not nearly as labor intensive as food service delivery work, and you will still do well over $60k, maybe more depending on the volume of time you put in...

    FlaSwampRat and TugHillRider Thank this.
