Maybe they do maybe they don't. I don't really know. The point I was making is that this clown may fast track a regulation in that direction.

So if I say you're dumb and useless with pretty, does that change the fact that I said you're dumb and useless? Doesn't matter how you tell them their laws don't do Jack they're going to have the same reaction they always do, which is usually "I'm from the government I can f up your life so sot down and shut up," and a scary amount of people think that this is just fine. I see us having another civil war in the next 20 to 30 years, that or complete and entire government control of every small detail of your life to "save you from yourself."

You're comparing apples to oranges. Calling somebody names in conversation is one thing. Talking to people of power is another. The reason why nothing gets changed is because nobody who tries to stand up to officials knows how to argue. They go full speed ahead. They dont have any notes or presentations or any legitimate evidence to prove why ELDS are the wrong way to go. Every argument against ELDS that I've heard so far are weak arguments. Some of the other regs, I will concede, can be thrown out. People in trucking forget how to deal with people outside of our world sometimes.

If I say whatever I say in plain everyday English words or use thesaurus and pick the biggest substitutes I can find, what exactly is the difference, not a ####### thing.

You're missing the point. It's just what @Long FLD says. Reactionary. It may mean the same thing, but your attitude dictates whether someone will take you seriously. You dont need big words. I could have gone up there and said the exact same thing to fmcsa and it wouldn't have sounded nearly as stupid

A GPS in the product makes the most sense.. So if a driver arrives early and takes time off or stops by the house wouldn’t it be better if load was tracked not the driver.. once said driver returns to the load it could be a 1000 miles away.

If you said the same exact thing in a different way or with a different attitude, you still said the exact same #### thing, so what exactly is different other, they'll take it the same way.

Its not the same thing bro. The right attitude sometimes is the difference between getting unloaded early or being forced to wait for an appt or being worked in

I see what you're saying if hometime was going to happen while on that load, but for a load I which hometime isnt an option I get why they would track the driver. I see both sides. It dont bother me to be tracked. It isnt like they will steal my identity. I did sign the bills, which makes me responsible for that load. I mean, everyone's gotta cover themselves.
