Speaking of Ft. Bridger I’ve seen the billboard that mentions Thornburgh the dog and his grave... finally remembered to google it.

Ft. Bridger always sticks with me cause I could have froze to death here back when I had Blackie.
Had a sensor issue / derate warning from not letting it do it's own thing with the regens. This was before I started to figure this stuff out.
So ran balls to the wall across WHY-OH-MING and stopped at a shop where Helga told me, "Now we must go to de over time rate. De over time rate is $187.50 hour. You are ok wid dees?"
So I went out to drop my trailer and it had cleared.
So go F yourself Helga, you and your fleece the driver husband.
But then I was afraid to idle the truck after making it here.
And it was -10.
My cousin was like,"Dave. I know you've been through some really tough ####. But just idle the F truck before you freeze to death."
So I idled. And it did it's self regens. And we all lived happily ever after.RidgeRunner731, 2old, Vic Firth and 8 others Thank this. -

In my first year of driving I was at Ft Bridger at what is now the TA. Was still Burns Bros then. This was in late June, I think. Was dry when I went to bed. When I woke up, there was a lot of snow on the ground and the chain law was out on the Sisters. Did I say this was in June? I went back to sleep.
