I hear you, and while that fit the thread, he was talking about the money, there was much more in cows, and just park when there was no cows to haul. lol
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Guy that I worked for had been doing it since 1965 same family. 25 trucks so I think they were doing something right.NavigatorWife Thanks this.

I haul refer. It the light goes to yellow or red. You can shut off the refer and restart it. That will rest the computer and should put it back to green. If it changes again then call dispatch they will usually have you run by a repair shop and get you in and out without a problem. Only once had I had to keep resetting it every couple of hours. No problem with the load being accepted. Food stayed in acceptable range.NavigatorWife Thanks this.

Most have a series of buttons to push- usually 2 buttons at same time to reset .Jenn72 Thanks this.

Always run a pretrip on reefer control unit to check for codes or issues when picking up a trailer or the one you are pulling.NavigatorWife and ncmickey Thank this.

I heard a story about a mechanic sent to repair a broken down reefer full of pizza dough. Apparently driver told him to hurry because if dough started to rise it could blow the sides out of the trailer. Not sure if it was b.s. or not
