Hi guys 20 years old here, would like to go pick up a truck I’m buying but it’s a couple of states over. Are there any exemptions or special circumstance permits I can get just to pick it up and bobtail it back to Florida?

    Thank you

Nope. The truck is the commodity and as such it falls under all the interstate rules, including the CDL without the intrastate restriction.

Really your only legal option is to hire a drive away company to deliver it. Even sending a friend to pick it up will introduce all sorts of paperwork issues that it will be easier and cheaper to just get it delivered.
Stuff like own authority, or leased on to someone, insurance, etc. Basically the only requirement you will not need to meet is getting (or leasing onto a carrier with) an MC number.

    FMCSA will tell you
If it has a DOT number there's no possible way

Is the truck really worth that much? Your facing 5000 plus in fines if caught along with being placed out of service

2 lane it, legal speeds, during overnight hours on the weekend.
    Probably won't be an issue.

Meh. I'd take any Dot # off of it, put a couple of those bs "Not For Hire" stickers on it and head home at the speed limit.

If you drive it home on Saturday or even better Sunday you'll have nothing to worry about. Go around all scales. Done it ten thousand times with no problems before
