Husband/Wife teams...
Do you both enjoy driving?
Do you both enjoy traveling?
Do you both want to earn 100k+?
Be sure to do your homework with each company you approach. Research. Research. Research.
The outfit I work for welcomes H/W teams.
Good luck!
Would you give up this gig?

Those days are gone.
Trucks are a form of micromanaging cubible on wheels. You will probably discover that you both have no choice, no decision making powers, no authority of any kind and nothing else.
For some its really dehumanzing.
Example Chicago Dispatch with FFE out of Highland Ave in North Central asked wife and I would we please give up the Buffalo to Phoenix AZ load in a middle of a raging ice storm, give it to some lucky solo who is running late (Pays 2500 miles and .75 to the truck for us) and take his load into Windsor and then Brampton in the middle of a raging ice storm?
No.
Solo made his bed he has to deal with Brampton. And DIspatch Chicago center cut ties with us.
No is no. As it turned out Phoenix had quite a bit of work for us. They were AWESOME as was Denver. -
Whats a 'flat rate dealer tech?'
-
Just meant the people I work with have never worked in the Private sector... they have no idea what hard work is. Hope I didn't offend.
-
Teams with no experience? They don't have the 1 or 2 years
-
"Flat rate" is you get paid by the job. Say the job pays 2.0hrs to do and you take 4 hours to get it done, well you only get paid for 2 hours. That's the life of a dealership Technician.FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

How long you been driving?
How long you been with this company? -
You're a Car Mechanic ?
-
No, I was many many years ago. In my 30 plus years of being a mechanic I've done just about everything.
-
You working on Heavy Equipment?
...what the hell are you? (lol)
