Don’t get it. Few have had goodluck with them but majority are PITA....... the broker I haul for bought a few “Brand New” and all have had issues.

 

What year?

 

@Belials ,who is specialised in warranty claims , said in the past that the numbers do not match your statement.
Cummin vs Paccar had similiar number off claims.

That can be so but he sits behind a desk..... I have seen first hand what these paccar engines have been doing. This company/broker purchase 5 thru Peterbilt brand new may I add, and all have been towed to back to the dealer for one thing or another. Mostly DEF related. They have one left in the fleet and can’t wait until they get rid of it. Anything they purchased now is Cummins Period.

 

Induvidual cases happen with all brands.
Sometimes bad luck,sometimes bad practices by drivers or mechanics.
There are members on here who praise their Paccar's while other curse them.
Every engine has a weak point.
