Brother. I’m in that boat. If you have t already found out. Western Express is a company that Will take you. It doesn’t pay well. But you’ll get what you need from them. More experience. Good luck.

 

Western Express will take you. Kinda a crappy company but they pay you less to give you that second chance. Good luck

 

Anyone heard anything about Cox transportation out of Va. and does anyone know if Epes will hire felons.

 

You know what's crazy, this just happened to me. This EXACT thing just happened to me. I have 4 backing Non-DOT reportable accidents on my DAC, and a recruiter at PTL (I won't say her name), said that the most I would have to do is a refresher course, which I was okay with. Turns out the recruiter I was assigned to, edited the accident section of my application and made it seem like I had one accident on my record, just to get me through to orientation and receive her commission when I arrived at the hotel....

Of course, the office personnel pulled me into their office to tell me that I do not meet the requirements and that I can't be hired and they are sending me home. I was SHOCKED because I was VERY transparent on the actual application. I even pulled a personal copy of my DAC and have the receipts to prove it (in the form of an email).

I then called the recruiter and told her what happened, and she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about...it got to the point where I escalated the call, explained the situation to the Recruiting Manager of PTL who was PISSED to say the least (and apologized to me profusely), and let's just say she has the same employment status I currently have.

 

PTL isn't the only 2nd chance company around. There's others much less strict.

 

Where is your location; I can give you some names that hire felons.
