So I drive an International straight truck and my company got me a new seat bottom to put in. The old one was worn to hell. Anyways, just unbolted the old one from the hinge, bolted the new one on and bingo. Easy as pie. There is an air hose on the new seat bottom, however, that wasn’t on the old one. I blew into it and obviously I could feel some bags inflating inside the seat. There is no switch to hook this hose to. Only has a back lumbar switch and a switch for up and down. Both of which work. I feel I lean to the right a bit on the new seat bottom, especially on left hand turns. Is this the wrong seat bottom for this truck? Or is there some kind of t valve that should be installed with the back lumbar switch, so they both will work? I’m assuming the lean I’m feeling is because the seat isn’t inflated.

    Youre so close.

In my time we use a T line connector off a convenient air supply coupling somewhere below the cab. (Enough slack so you have room to bounce cab and raise seat etc)

Usually you gain a benefit of having a air gun with a trigger on it to blow the dust out of your cab. hissssssss all out easy as pie.

Clear the floor area around your new seat. It's going to pound on bad bridges etc.

Well running a line from under the cab is out of the question, so I guess I’ll just deal with it. The seat frame hold air just fine, so the bouncing is no different than it was before. Actually seems a bit softer due to a decent amount of padding in the seat. The old one the foam was falling out from the bottom. I had a t shirt stuffed up under it holding it all together.
