You talking about the Semi's that are set up as straight trucks and carry 5 cars? Like a mini big car hauler? If yes, then yea there are some with sleepers but they are pretty rare and the sleepers are small.

There is a 2000 International 8100 in Casselberry, FL on Facebook for sale now. It's $19,500 it has a small sleeper and truck looks ok.. I always watch for them myself so I keep tabs on them when I see them. It's been for sale a while on FB. Prior to that there was a Volvo for sale down in south FL that had a sleeper. It was a odd Volvo though it had a flat nose like the square internationals. I assume due to the length it was $25k but it sold.

If I was gonna go full cars it's probably the way I'd go. vs trying to do a 4 or 5 car hot shot. You see them pretty often with out sleepers but sleepers tend to be rare.

edit.. here I attached the picture of the one on FB now..

Yes, that is exactly what I believe the OP is talking about. I just love cabovers & was probably pushing my own agenda a bit..

Was searching cabover stingers and all of them are the Freightliner FLA 65 but I can't find a single picture of one of these with the cab open to see how they open.

Oh nice, so they do exist! Thats exactly what I was talking about.

I love cabovers too! I thought of the 5 pack cabover before I posted here but didn't realize I won't be able to pull the cab with the frame right above it until after you replied.

Yea they exist but very rare with the sleeper and you probably wont find one newer than 03. That's the newest I've seen.

The type I see like the one in the picture isnt a cab over, never seen a cab over one before. That one in the picture the hood opens like a normal truck.

The cabovers have hydraulics that raise the headrack up to give the cab room to flip forward.

I drove that truck for a year. Used to work at Parkway. The front rack lifts up to tilt the cab. But you cannot put a van or suv over the cab. It has a 16 or 18K front axle. You can wash the windshields standing on the ground. Rides smooth, my problem was no ladder. Difficult to chain down the front vehicle. I have seen a picture when it was loaded with 13 cars. Series 60 Detroit with a 13 speed, 3.91 rears with low profile 22 tires, it is located at Clearwater MN, behind the Petro Truck Stop, not Clear Lake.

It is classified as a Lowliner Freightliner. Parkway had several of these over the years. This was the last one. They had the chassis and was going to put a Delavan rack on it, but Delavan stopped building racks for non union transporters, so this was the first Boydstun rack and trailer Parkway purchased. The trailer listed with this unit is not the original trailer, the original was sold and seen it running around Oklahoma. The original trailer was a Boydstun with a split top rear rack, so you could double up with smaller cars.

Very neat. Thank you for the info/lesson. Pretty crazy, can hold 13cars.! I think the most I've ever seen was 11 on a day cab..

How'd she ride with that heavy steer, & set back like that..?
