I just dropped an injector so I am pulling the top end apart. Right now the simulator isn’t letting me talk to Cummins about warranty on the reman. I had my injector replaced at Earl’s shop on Imagination Drive. This is costing me thousands of non existent dollars in downtime.

I hope to just maybe replace a fake liner, head and injector and be back rolling by Friday. Are you still stuck on that pole?

Those are Dura Brites I got from a junkyard on Grand Theft Auto Vice City. I towed some stolen freight trucks for Tony, it was part of the trade off.

Question: Do you have an alternate reality game where you know any diesel mechanics? Ridgeline is looking to repo this wrecker if I don’t come up with some play money soon.

If you run the Get A Life bypass three miles south to You’re Kidding Yourself Avenue. Make a right and go two blocks to Rude Awakening Parkway. It’s right past Unemployment Boulevard.

Do you remember "how to make a right turn from 2 turn lanes" thread, and we had that one guy who was of the opinion that doing a button hook would land you in the county jail?

    sorry but no.

all i do know is that when i was driving and needed to make a right turn, i;d totally block off the right side (to prevent some rummy from coming up there) and swing wide (button hook) and make my turn. sometimes, i'd be into the lane next lane as well, totally cutting those people off as well, if i needed to make a very tight New England turn, or if i had a set of pups....if (and i did up here) NEED to go into the opposing lanes (on coming traffic, due to the tightness of that turn), i'd do that too.

i took all that I WANTED and needed. i am sure i ticked off many other people, but then, they ticked me off as well...i knew how to hold up traffic.

Amen. Up here in the northeast I’ll take 4 lanes if I want to in order to be safe. Flashers on find an opening and go. I will say tho downtown Philadelphia is worse for me the. NYC

When I was a kid and rode with my dad, he used to do that with a cabover and 40' trailer. Most of the trucks didn't have spot mirrors.

When I hauled 40' containers, I couldn't believe how wide he used to take those turns, and how I didn't have to because of the spot mirrors!

the thing up here (and a few other cities i have been to), there are either telephone or light poles AT the corner, not "set back" from it. (my former 2 Boston stops were notorious for this), also what i have seen more often than not, is if it is a telephone pole, way too many of them are leaning over the street, this now makes it possible to clip it, if you do not stay far enough from it.

i need not debate any issues with anyone regarding leaning poles, who's responsible, or whatever else, and striking them.
