Some of the websites are not updated on a regular basis.

I was looking at NCI earlier and it looks like it hasn't been updated since 2006.

Central Refrigerator qualifies the HECK out of theirs, but it's actually functional, and it's on the website. Gotta give them credit for that. You can change your mileage to see how bad it hurts to make only 1200 miles in a week, and how good it feels when you get 2700.

Thanks man. Hint to newbies: Get a highlighter and highlight everything you think is testable in the CDL book. I missed only two on my air brakes because of this. Also, I got approved for road master by voc rehab.

Well testing is all done. Got 100% on my backing and pre trip, and only got dinged 6 points on my driving test. 2nd to only Aaron..... again (Chevyman i think on this forum) So just the fictitious trip tomorrow and down to the DMV to transfer the permit to a license on Monday and then whatever else in the orientation next week. Looking forward to getting out of Utah and on the road.

I was just wondering for all you lease ops what were your miles as a company driver and once you started to lease when did you get your miles? Right now I am a company driver and only getting 1500 if I am lucky a week. I want to take the jump and lease but with those miles I will be lucky if I stick around for another month.

Well done Biggja........sounds like you and Aaron are doing very well :yes2557:

Hi nw2it, How long have you been with Central??????

JJ was getting reasonable miles as a company driver 2500-3000!

I really wouldn't Lease if you are only getting 1500 miles every week, you would be in the hole on a consistent basis.

You don't necessarily change FMs when you Lease and that seems to be a big misconception, A friend was going to Lease and he was told he needed 3000 miles a week for a month before he could and yes he was going to get a new FM when he leased.

If your only thinking about Leasing because of the lack of miles then I would really reconsider.

I can send you a breakdown of what Central take every week, even if the truck isn't moving.

Well 1bad is in liberal KS dodging tornados earlier tonight. Sent a couple cool looking videos to the girls. Yes I know it's only cool looking if your not there! Still no word on the Kraft thing. They want to talk to him face to face when he gets to WVC. He is getting loaded now (meat load I think) and heading to UT for a Monday delivery I think he said. So hard to keep things straight in my head lately.

Way to go biggja! Sounds like at least one more sound driver is bout to hit our highways.

I agree with Jess about the FM thing. The only reason 1bad will get a new FM if he does lease is because he told them he wouldn't lease on and keep the one he has. Even though miles have gotten better for him after many many many complaints about his FM. We went almost a whole month and didn't get over 1000 a week. With the exception of last week (he was home 5 days) he is now averaging around 2700 a week. He got a qc the other day from his FM stating to his entire fleet that they needed to be more careful with preventable accidents. They had had one a day for the past month ranking his fleet 2nd worse in the company. Thank god we are getting off this fleet either by means of Kraft or L/O. I got a funny feeling that is why the miles are so low because they don't trust his drivers! 1bad has only had one incindent and is was unpreventable when that dang deer ran right out in front of him. Also he has been driving for 6 months now and only 1 late delivery and he picked it up from a guy that had left it in a truck stop and quit. It was 2 days late when he picked it up. Still trying to get that off his record. But that is an uphill battle. Hopefully Kraft can over look that crap!

that's a crock. he shouldn't be held accountable for a load he wasn't assigned in the first place. 1bad did THEM a favor. besides himself needing the miles

gotta love doing what your told just to get a whipping.

did you see them tornadoes on google earth, jess? i c the first hurriane of the season starting to brew over yonder there?>>
