How many nailers should a deck have?

    7 months with a step, and not once have a I had anything nailed to the deck. I second the screw idea too.

    We nailed a lot of things Down hauling glass. And we used the center nailer too. Only pictures I have from a few years back.

    A 3rd or 4th nailer would come in handy with a load like cable reels. Not empty ones, but ones the are heavy. If the reel is too big to put in a coil rack and there are only 2 wood nail strips to the outside of the trailer, the reel will push the boards securing them apart and may even snap them. This would cause the reel to rest on the trailer floor and possibly start to go into the floor.
