It's been a tad slow over at Superior. I've been out 22 days, but it takes a while to get back out once in. A lot of guys getting tank washed home long before home dates.
Is it like that across the board for liquid bulk, or is it just us?

You're a mega(sorta) so you'll feel it more than smaller companies, but drivers are complaining on both the tanker FB pages I'm on, so it's not just you.
Mortarmaggot Thanks this. -
I don't know if it's just a coincidence but I have been to 3 different tankwashes this past week and they were incredibly empty... specifically Quala in Saraland, AL. They had 6 dirty tankers on the lot... mid-week.

Yours is not the only company slow right now. I wish I better understood why.

Aw man I really hope it isnt a trend considering I'm gonna have my CDL next Friday and looking into going tanker. Hopefully living in a refinery town will shield the market down here.

Our big Foundry up here went from 24/7 to 5/8s it is slowing down.

Just passing by, Orange713 and Mortarmaggot Thank this.

Not worried long term, just wanted to know if it's across the board. Looks like it's slow with everyone.
I learned to enjoy the slow times during my first two years. It won't be long and they'll be willing to let you run the tires off the truck. -
Dispatch called saying I'll get assigned a load out tomorrow. That's darn good. Been home less than 2 after 22 out and able to roll within 3 days.
kemosabi49 and scythe08 Thank this. -
Slow but not dead. I did a 34 at loves Deer Park Tx and saw a lot of other tanker trucks hanging around. Things will pick up again, this is just so contraction from the nice long surge in liquid bulk.
Mortarmaggot and Echo5kilo Thank this.
