What about my moves though? I was able to get a Driver's Record Report from the Illinois DMV(current and now permanent residence - I bought a home) but, although I lived in Illinois all of my life save the two years in WA State,(25 Whopping Years of Residential Home Ownership - One Place of residence. and 20 - before marriage. Born and raised in Illinois.) - when I moved back to Illinois from WA State(Been back here for 16 Months) Apparently all my safe driver's years were zapped? - Not in the Illinois DMV Records anymore.(Least not that I can see in the Driver's Report from the IL SOS DMV.) They basically considered me "No Longer an Illinois State License Holder or resident - so - Not their responsibility any longer???: - Same thing now with my 2 years 2016 - 2018 in WA State. - Since I moved back to Illinois, they no longer consider me a "residential license holder" so, I can't even access my Driving Record for WA State to show the Community College or any prospective Employers.
It looks like I am a new driver?
Thing is. Like you said. @plankton - The fact that NOTHING shows up from either state, shows I have no DUI's, No convictions, or and No major violations ON record. Right?
Thank you for your thoughtful reply and encouragement @plankton. I hope I can still attend The Community College CDL Training Program. I am going to talk to them more tomorrow. I was supposed to be writing them a check tomorrow and starting classes in a week.

lol And no. I am not crazy. I am just a Big Tolkien LOTRs fan.
Only reason I am asking is because that recruiter from CRE got nasty when I told him I was not interested in moving forward with them. *See My thread - "Which Way Frodo? - This Hobbit's Journey"

Don't be concerned about your MVR; companies can find out anything about you and will find your driving record from both states and any other states even if you haven't lived in them.
Gamgee Thanks this. -
Sign up to drive with Uber, they will do a check on you. (you don't have to drive with them) I had a DWI from 18 years ago that I could not find record of myself searching with various services online, some I even paid a fee for. Well, uber found it. Should have done that first and it wouldn't have cost me a dime.

I am just real nervous right now. The excietment I feel about doing what I enjoy (I love OTR) is being overshadowed by the unknown.
But. If I never tried.
I would always wonder and
Never know. -
There are companies Like Averitt that require no experience but you have to have a cdl already. My cousin got his cdl with averitt 17 years ago and never left.
Also pepsi hires with no experience, southeastern does as well
As far as your driving record mist companies only look at 3&5 year records.
Teenstreet is an app that kets you store an application and gives you access to hundreds of trucking companies, you can apply with a no exoerience company there , go through the phone interview then when they run your background and mvr then it will save it to your profile on teenstreet...i think you search “driver pulse” in the app storeGamgee Thanks this. -
I agree. You don't have to resign, then talk with a trucking company.
You can apply and wait for them to come back with the background check. Once the trucking company says you are good to come to the Orientation class, you can send in 2-week notice to your current employer and choose the date for your Orientation class. In most if not all cases, only after you pass the medical test/drug screen the trucking company officially hires you.
