Not so much favorite, but if one is going to hate a company at least hate it for the right reasons.
Stuff like pay, pushing for ELD, speed limiters, cameras, and stuff like that. Plenty to hate any mega for, yes even number of wrecks. Just be aware they are 'average'.
And that is the scary part. Swift is average, which says about all that needs to be said about the safely of truck driving.

There seems to be a cult movement on YouTube to create Swift specific videos which increases the perception beyond reality. I've also looked up their Safer numbers just out of curiosity because of all the internet troll talk and they are average for many large companies and similar to Schneider which always preaches how safe they are.

Most accidents that I've ever observed in real life involve Billy Big Riggers who were still going 75 mph on ice and snow and jack knife off the road, or rolled over in the apex of off ramps also because of speed and some rear enders from tailgating. I worry more when one of them is traveling near me than any Swift truck.

I remember they had a great safety rating because of their size. The sad part was their operation was responsible for 2 deaths a month in a year's time. :(o_O
