I own my truck but have heard mixed stories on the lease. To me it looks like you can do good if you know how to run as a owner. Too many pissy babies and steering wheel holders out here. Long story short I got no problems here, good luck
mgr freight has lived up to the hype so far

So your currently with them and have no issues? I was planning on doing a lease the way I look at it every company has it’s good and it’s bad but most people will only tell you about the bad based on there bad experiences
-
I know a lot here who have been here years even before me, and i've met those who have left in a week. Way I see it you gotta buckle down somewhere and take the good with the bad. This winterss been a little rough everywhere but most winters are.

Thank you bro I appreciate the feedback I’m always seeing mixed reviews on the company but for the most part good the recruiter I spoke to gave some good information so I will be coming along shortly to see for myself I’m trying to get over there make some money I’ve always been a runner so I don’t have any issues with that and hopefully I can purchase my own rig

Question what do they govern there trucks at on the lease purchase side?
-
I think their lease trucks are governed at 67, but don’t quote me. MGR is not a bad company. I’ve been with them since May 2018. I wrote a long post on them if you can find it. I’m not sure what thread. The key to success with MGR or any other carrier, in my opinion, is to take on as much responsibility as possible. Insurance, toll tag, fuel card, registration plates, etc. All these things you should be prepared to do on your own. MGR charges $4 per swipe to use their EFS fuel card, no discounts anywhere. The other key is your dispatcher. You must have a dispatcher that you feel comfortable with. Good luck.

You still running that truck?
