Ahh yard move puts you in drivetime if you go over 5mph. And you better hope there isnt a tail wind. Actually you gotta go 3mph so you got wiggle room not to go over 5. Put the truck in gear and idle all you can do.

I'm now on full ELD. Seems like I'm struggling to do 500 mile days. We do more short runs and drop and hooks. All the short truck movements really add up. If all you do is drive some days like on the longer trip it not a problem. You can't even go from fuel island to parking spot with being put on drive time. Even with Yard Movement your always logging something to to move the truck.

Fuel to park is a perfectly legitimate use of personal conveyance.

There seems to be more hiccups than what others have described being on AOBRD compared to ELD, that's from changing exactly how things are measured and recorded, to being more exacting while being less helpful, imo.

Big difference from being near a major metro, where there is a new jurisdiction of 6000 or more souls every fraction of a mile travelled, to the nearest one being miles away in any direction on a different road, and even in another state. That's really helpful.

Sometimes i PC yard moves and Truck stops it gets old tapping a duty status every 1 or 2 min to stop the clock. On old system PC clock stopped when in park now it stays running even when engine is off

That's why I don't do that. It's not worth saving 2 or 3 minutes. I can burn up 20-30 minutes easy by the time you check in at security guard. Then drive and check in at shipping office. Then driving to find the loading or unloading dock. Then another 30 minutes to check out get paper work and check out at security guard again. .
