Company is in bad shape, hiring drivers to fill all trucks and they don't have the freight base for this. They take anyone who will come in and sometimes this is people you would not want to be associated with. Sometimes they literally trash the trucks beyond belief,I saw some of them as I was trying to get into a newer truck. I have a new job and will be leaving soon. I consider this my worst experience in the trucking industry by far. Dispatch is a circus and they tell each other about messages coming in, laugh about them and genrally turn it in to a soap opera. Freight for the new drivers is truckstop loadboard freight that no one else wants. Sometimes its past due and receivers will treat you like you are late on the load. You will have to deal with brokers as well as dispatchers. When you go to call in a problem, it immediately becomes your fault and they will try to charge it to your record and put it on the DAC. Stay away from these guys. I honestly believe you'd be better off working for a larger carrier such as Schneider or JB. The insanity level would be a lot lower, I am sure.

I talked to a guy in a freightliner dealership a few months back that used to work for them. We were both broke down and was shootin' the ####. He had a lot of bad and unusual things to say about them too. Sounds like a bunch of cowboys in that company if you know what I mean....

Oh my God,I wish I had read these msg be for i spent $528.00 on renting a car to go up there an then coming back home. The motel i was in wasnt bad, except for the water temp being possesed,an the prositutes frequenting the bar there.I stayed in my room. The company gives u $5 dollar meal tickets, but u have to pay it back. The terminal is a 1 level bldg on a corner street in a very bad part of town(i was told by another driver "dont spent the night in the drop lot''u might get shot'! The orientation was a joke,we oriented ourselves. But the 1st day a lady came in''seemed nice'' stayed for 40min then left us alone again.Pizza was ordered for lunch. The next day another lady came in for about 40min an had us sign the rule pages''explaining how they take out $50 from your pay each week untill it total,s $400.00 just in case u decide to abandon the truck. An if ur late on a ck call $25. del $150,pu $125 an so on.And it got worse,my truck the bumper was held together w/ zip ties, inside was filthy,i said no problem id clean it myself. The guy they had cleaning the trucks looked like he just crawled out of a sewer. The truck idel,d for 20 min then died(ran out of fuel) it seems this company only lets u get enough fuel to complete a run,so the tanks are never fill,d up,(it seems that some of the driver's sell the fuel(shady) It had an APU unit but kept dying after 2 min. There shop is a garage on the street. down from the main bldg. This company clearly doesnt care about the drivers,no shower's or washer's or dryer's.Ive talked w/ some of the other drivers,no decent miles, low pay.An after going thru hell I left.Got a taxi up to the airport, an rented a car,to go back home.Ive driven for many companies,In my 23yrs,These people were the worst,an then i found out later that they put on my DAC that i worked for them.Ill do my best to get that off. This company is dangerous,an if u want to protect your CLD stay away!!P.S. Its run by an italian family,an thows type of people are hard to work for(meaning alot for them,an nouthing for you)I was also told they have there hands in many pockets through out the KC metro area.

You were smart enough to leave before you got started...I guess I wasn't. The first load I was on the refer had not been filled and after 5 min of hooking up it ran dry. They told me it was my fault even though I was picking it up to go get reefer fuel where they told me too. Later I found out they wrote "no reefer experience" on my record. Little did I know that that was only the beginnning of my "3 months of hell".

well guys, here is one for the drivers. i had taken a load from this company's usual Tyson Foods. i picked up the "loaded trailer" from tyson and while at tyson found the reefer wasn't working good (normal for palmentere) so tyson swapped onto another trailer, so i couldn't count on their (tysons) dock, so i had to take the bills for granted and signed them SL&C. well i got to wal-mart's d.c. and found out the load was short and was told to go on to my last drop. while en route to phoenix, az with the last drop i was asked to fax in all the paperwork on the load because wal-mart was also saying they were short and "tyson" had everything on the BOL's in the trailer. i did this and after unloading in phoenix i was told my joe palmentere to "go ahead and park the truck in phoenix, note i was supposed to go on home time then, and i had 'leased' the truck. i told him that i had seal intact signed records as well for all drops. i didn;\'t hear a thing from them for 5 days after that. by then i realized joe palmentere was going to stick it to me and keep my $500.00 deposit and all due to me. i used to broker and have alot of customers that think well of me, so i took a load of my own and after i delivered i plugged in the gps and told them "here is the truck and shove it" under the terms of our lease according to us code service under federal civil procedure they had to notify me via us mail and/or other certified means that they had wanted and demanded their truck back. which i also let them know afterwards. so thank you joe p. for that load, i made more in those 4 days than i ever made in my 5 months with them. joe p has no respect for anyone, he likes to wave a gun around and slap his female office girls. i don't know how he is still in business. but beware this company will keep you at 1700 miles a week or less. they will call you on a cell phone they "demand" at orientation that you have to get to drive for them. and they will call you at all hours and cuss you out for no reason. as i told joe p. that if he stayed up for 7 days on red bull and vivarin he still wouldn't get up early enough to beat me. oh yeah if you want home time GOOD LUCK they usually get you home every two months if you are lucky, and while on home time they will keep calling you to ask you to go pick up a load from them that is a "hot load". stay clear of this company. Drivers you have been fairly warned. oh yeah i bought my own new truck and trailer and have my own authority, so they can shove thier DAC up their favorite place.
