I know in Florida of all places I had to roll across 2 scales cause I was 11900 and change on my steers.
The first one before i burned some fuel was 11980.
Dude full stopped me and was shaking his head when he green lighted me.
The best ever was some dude at a super coup in the communist state was 38400 on his tandems in the lane next to me lol.Cattleman84, FlaSwampRat, truckdriver31 and 2 others Thank this. -
Sounds like to me that they only used up about 35 feet of space with a heavy load-
Thats Why you should always pay attention and watch these nitwits loading you if your live loading.Cabinover101, Dino soar, MACK E-6 and 5 others Thank this. -

As an Oldtimer once said, “Run that #####” 200 miles, your legal, if you cross a scale, simply jump up off the seat, as you cross the sample scale, or gas on it, just before drives hit it. Works every time. Not over gross, nothing to worry about, Tire ratings on steer should cover that part. Your a victim of a Lazy forklift Driver on a Friday.

There was a dude at a feed place up in Minot last winter.
It's cold. Like he's wearing a face shield and breathing mask.
He had 3 trucks to load including mine, and I was last. And I'm going into the communist state.
He loaded all 3 wrong with these big gaylords.
All 3 had to be completely reworked.Studebaker Hawk, FlaSwampRat, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -
About 1991 Nebraska gave me crap for about that much over on my drives.
No ticket but I had to get it legal before I could leave.
It was molasses blocks on a 45 ft. flatbed with no slides.
I had to untarp both ends and carry that much weight from front to back and then re-secure everything.
I think he just didn't like the way my face hangs.Cattleman84, FlaSwampRat, D.Tibbitt and 2 others Thank this. -
