If it is front to back jerking motion on an empty trailer it could be that the stiff suspension is working against you. The trailer could be lifting slightly off the ground... Then when it lands it gives a jerk... This can be a night mare on rough roads... Only solution in that case, that I know of, is to slow down.

Yea I think the weight on the tail is causing it to go up and down and is the reason why I'm moving my ramps from the back to the side and building new extensions cause the current ones are extremely heavy. If moving the weight and adding airbags to the drive axle doesn't work then adding airbags and/or shocks to the trailer would be the next step.
Slowing down doesn't help. It happens at 10mph and all the way to 70mph.

5th wheel new and is tight and has only been used for 2 months. It was the first thing I checked. All other trailers I pulled where smooth. Pulled a friend's wedge for a 50 miles just to test it and it was 100% smooth. My previous heavier trailer was smooth also.
